Weekly Pool Care Guide

Carrying out a few simple checks each week will help keep your pool clean and ensure your Origin Aqua system continues to operate optimally. These tasks only take a few minutes and help prevent common issues. 1. Empty the Skimmer Baskets Check the skimmer baskets and remove any leaves, insects, or debris. Keeping the skimmers clear helps maintain good water circulation and prevents the pump from working harder than necessary. 2. Brush the Pool Walls & Vacuum Brush the pool walls to remove any buildup or debris. Skim the surface of any loose leaves. This helps keep the pool surfaces clean and allows the filtration system to remove particles from the water more effectively. Deploy your pool robot or vacuum to clean the pool floor. 3. Check the Pool Water Level The water level should be approximately halfway up the skimmer opening. If the water level is too low, the pump may draw in air and circulation may be reduced. To top up the pool: - If your pool has an automatic top-up system, it will stop filling automatically. - For manual top-up, place the hose connected to the Origin Aqua filtered top-up line into the pool. - Note: Untreated mains tap water must not fill the swimming pool, this will lead to seriously reduced water quality and the pool water could turn green. 4. Quick Plant Room Check Take a moment to check the plant room. You should observe: - The circulation pump running - Main Flow & Pressure visible on the pressure gauge If the gauge shows zero pressure, or the plant room is completely silent, the system may require attention.
